"Jews throughout Nazi-occupied Europe were forced to wear a badge in the form of a Yellow Star as a means of identification. This was not a new idea; since medieval times many other societies had forced their Jewish citizens to wear badges to identify themselves." The badges were often painted on a course cloth and painted a yellowish color. The star, which represented the Star of David, was outlined in a thick black paint. The word, "Jew" was inscribed in the center of the star to identify them.

Nazi Uniforms
"Every part of the Nazi party had its own uniform, completed with accompanying regalia." Internation party records have shown that subsections of the party have argude for its own uniform. Wearing certain uniforms would demonstrate status - but also power. Displaying power was a major element in the Nazi propaganda. Wearing these certain uniforms allow them to get the "proper respent" from others. There are many diffrent types of uniforms, such as, the Hauptstelleneiter of the local group. This would be a lower rank uniform of the local group leader, which is one who's incharge of a party office. There are even uniforms for Nazi university students.
